The Senior Program Manager of Field Training is primarily responsible for leading the deployment and implementation of a training experience that drives associate engagement, is aligned with our core values, company objectives and elevates performance. This individual will partner with Operations Leadership and other key stakeholders to drive proper execution and sustainability of training initiatives throughout the organization.
* Role can be based anywhere within the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic region *
Develop nonexempt warehouse associates through training and coaching activities that result in increased performance across the organization. Apply knowledge of adult learning principles, coaching skills, and innovative learning solutions to elevate the skill set of our associates and influence performance.
Drive standardization and proper execution by working collaboratively with onsite Operations teams to ensure training programs are tailored to accommodate site specific business needs. Identify training needs and recommend appropriate solutions, through data analysis and by observing trainers, trainees and on site Leadership. Conduct and oversee training sessions, coach and mentor trainers, ensuring employee comprehension and demonstration. Lead and observe trainer development sessions and monitor performance for new warehouse trainers, experienced trainers and high potential trainers to ensure personal development and retention. Consult with operations teams regarding best practices and integration of best practices into warehouse training programs.
Monitor and audit performance of warehouse training teams. Leverage data to analyze and assess impact of training and development programs and then take action as necessary for improvements.
Participate in the development, testing and implementation of new training programs for warehouse personnel.
Travel Required: Yes
Specialized Knowledge: Strong interpersonal communication skills, conflict resolution, and employee relations skills.
Special Skills: Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred. Microsoft Office skills – Intermediate Level.

Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities. :
Years of Experience
2-5: High volume warehouse experience required
2-5: Training experience required, including the ability to demonstrate an understanding of adult learning styles and strategies
5-7: In a leadership role with demonstrated ability to influence others.
